Student leaders in two batches from elementary to senior high school participated in the annual Leadership Seminar 2022 on October 8 (Batch 1) and October 15 (Batch 2).
Facilitated by the Office of Student Affairs, an onsite seminar was organized for homeroom leaders of this school year 2022-2023. With the theme “Lion in You’, the seminar aims for the participants to reflect on the characteristics of a leader and connect the lion’s mindset to the leadership need in today’s realities.
The program starts with the opening liturgy and is followed by a talk on The Leadership of the Lion administered by school director Jimmy Boy H. Estrellas. The talk highlights the importance of attitude in a leader and the leadership characteristics students can learn from a lion. The rest of the program includes film viewing, engaging activities, and a workshop. It was concluded with the synthesis by showing examples and key figures who manifest the characteristics of a lion.
This one-day seminar served as an avenue for new knowledge, perception, and experiences for the new set of leaders. They also gained the opportunity to engage with fellow leaders who are potential nominees for the COCOSA election. It is indeed not only informative but also reflective as they learn leadership lessons and become the best leader they can be, not only to others but most importantly to themselves.
There are six protocols to be followed inside and outside the campus of Infant Jesus School.
